Here at Carpet Closeouts, we provide Phoenix, Arizona with the highest quality flooring at discounted prices. We’re always keeping our eyes open for new products that raise the bar when it comes to flooring solutions. When word started spreading about luxury vinyl, we became excited. When we witnessed it in action, it became clear that luxury vinyl will be a solid flooring alternative that will be here for a long time to come.
The new material is separated into two categories, luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and luxury vinyl plank (LVP). The luxury vinyl tile looks exactly like—you guessed it—real tile, while the luxury vinyl plank realistically emulates wood flooring. Many flooring brands are getting involved in the action, including Shaw, Mohawk, and Earthwerks.
Those who have lived with vinyl flooring in the past might be turned off at first. After all, natural materials are all the rage these days. However, luxury vinyl is manufactured to look just real tile and wood. It’s so easy to install that you’ll quickly forgive yourself for not splurging for the real thing anyway. Best of all, the new lines of luxury vinyl are scratch resistant and virtually waterproof, an extremely valuable asset for some of the more “active” settings.
Shaw calls their vinyl offering “beautiful, comfortable, and quiet—you can have it all.” Meanwhile, Earthwerks boasts, “If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then hardwood flooring… and natural stone tiles have never been more complimented.”
For our residential clients, luxury vinyl is perfect for homes currently enduring the wrath of running, dirty children. Your home can be beautifully decorated without the constant worry of whether that spilled drink will ever come out of the floor. Similarly, commercial settings, including restaurants and offices, can add a professional, high-end look without the cost and hassle of real wood flooring.

I understand your pain. When I was siglne my basement apartment endured what I tenderly called The Great Flood. Above me was the laundry room and a water pipe burst flooding my apartment for five hours. I will never forget coming home and seeing water pouring out the door I entered on the side of the house. When I opened the door there was literally a waterfall going down the steps and into my bedroom. The whole basement had at least 3 feet of water, and everything I owned was ruined. It was quite the experience dc.
Fantastic! I can’t wait to see it in person. Looks like you geaind some great storage and a new level of living space there not to mention a techy corridor.
